3833191 - Alternate Names not visible in Data Collection or Manage Pending Hires pages

Symptom

Alternate Name is enabled in Manage Business Configuration and is not available in Manage Pending Hire or the Onboarding Data Collection pages.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the application and navigate to Onboarding.
  2. Open the dashboard and select an onboardee.
  3. Navigate to Onboarding data collection (for example, New Hire Data Review/Personal Data) and check whether Name in Alternate Language 1 is available.

Cause

Missing configuration in Configure People Profile: the Personal Information block configuration was not refreshed, preventing the Alternate name fields from appearing in Onboarding and Manage Pending Hires.

Resolution

  1. Go to Configure People Profile (not “Configure Latest People Profile”).
  2. In the Personal Information section, select the Personal Information card.
  3. Remove the Personal Information block from the card.
  4. Save
  5. Add the Personal Information block back to the card.
  6. Save the configuration.
  7. Verify that Name in Alternate Language 1 are now visible in Manage Pending Hires and in Onboarding data collection.
