3833232 - Unplanned indicator is not filled for unplanned items in service confirmation

After creating a service confirmation for a service order and adding an unplanned item, the item is copied to the service order and the unplanned indicator is checked. However, in the service confirmation tab, none of the items are checked as unplanned.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a service order.
2. Create a service confirmation.
3. Add an unplanned item through the 'Add Unplanned Item' button.
   
4. Observe that the item is copied to the service order and marked as unplanned in the "Order" tab
   
5. Change to "Confirmations" tab and see that for the same item, Unplanned is not checked
   

The Unplanned flag indicates that the item was added outside the original planned scope — for example, as a result of work reported later. It stays on the service order item throughout its lifetime and is used for cost tracking, controlling, and reporting.

For a service confirmation, if an item is unplanned or not is only relevant at the time of creation. It tells the system that no corresponding service order item exists yet, and one needs to be created. Once the system creates and links the new service order item as a predecessor, the confirmation item behaves like any regular confirmation referencing a released order item.

Therefore, for service confirmations, the unplanned item indicator is never filled.

It's comprehensible how the unplanned item indicator in the service confirmation would be of great use for business, so please consider creating a feature request for this business requirement. This will inform the responsible developers as to what additional functionality should be considered for future releases.
