3833297 - Attribute synchronization does not update attributes security domain from PUBLIC to selected domain in SAP SuccessFactors Learning

• In SAP SuccessFactors Learning, attribute domains remain PUBLIC after running the Attributes Synchronization process with a specific security domain selected.

• The Attributes Synchronization job is run with the intended domain selected, but attribute records do not change from PUBLIC to the selected domain.

• SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log in to Learning Administration.
2. Search for Attributes Synchronization APM under Automatic Processes.
3. Update the field "Security Domain" at the APM levle with the intended security domain & run the Attributes Synchronization process.
4. Observe that the change is not reflecting at the attributes level after the APM ran.

• Attributes Synchronization APM is intended to run only once as part of the TIH upgrade process. Once the upgrade is complete, the job gets automatically disabled.
• Post that even though you try to run the APM with changes at the "Security Domain" field, the APM would not update the domain to the attributes that are already available in the learning.

• For the attributes that are already imported & exist in the learning, the following can be done
  • If you want to edit the domain for attributes that are less in number, then you can go to the attribute directly & manually update the domain value.
  • If you want to update the domain in bulk for the attributes, then please share the list of the attributes & the domain value to which you want to update these attributes along with the customer approval email attached to the case. 
  • For now, we can apply these changes only through the backend via a script execution for bulk changes.
