Symptom
In a Transportation Unit (TU) based integration between SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) — i.e. direct EWM–TM integration using Loading Appointment (LDAP) messages — the following is observed:
- After an LDAP request has been sent from TM to EWM, the TM Freight Unit (FU) is no longer updated by changes coming from the Delivery (DTR / outbound delivery order).
- When EWM posts Goods Issue (GI), the ERP delivery and the TM DTR are updated, but the TM Freight Unit (FU) and Freight Order (FO) are not.
- During this interval, the ERP document flow does not display the Freight Unit and Freight Order.
- The DTR items reflect the handling-unit (HU) based structure after GI, while the FU/FO still hold the original item hierarchy, so the documents no longer match.
