3833601 - Flexible Workflow not Started Purchase Order

Even though the workflow is correctly configured in Manage Workflows for Purchase Order app, the workflow instance is not triggered for the Purchase Order.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Navigate to Manage Workflows for Purchase Orders app.
2. Create a workflow for Purchase Order.
3. Go to Manage Purchase Orders app.
4. Create a Purchase Order.
5. Add all the mandatory fields.
6. Save the document.
7. Observe that the workflow was not started.

Document Type was not activated for scenario-based workflow in configuration step SSCUI Activate Flexible Workflow for Purchase Orders (101097).

1. Open configuration step SSCUI 101097.
2. Select the respective Document Type.
3. Mark the checkbox scenario-based workflow.
4. Save the change.
5. Create a new Purchase Order.
6. Verify that a workflow instance is initiated.

If the workflow still does not initiate, open the Manage Workflows for Purchase Orders app and add document type as a precondition in the relevant workflow variant, activate the workflow, and test again.
