Symptom

BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) XI 3.1 パッケージに付属する MySQL クライアントを使用して MySQL サーバに接続しようとすると、以下のエラーが表示されます。

"ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket "/tmp/mysql.sock" (2)"
