3309797 - How to check the Statutory Mileage Rates and Advisory Fuel Rates (Mileage Rates - UK)

You want to know the updated Statutory Mileage Rates and Advisory Fuel Rates in the system.

SAP Business ByDesign

For Statutory Mileage Rates:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center. 
2. Go to the Overview view. 
3. Search for the Fine Tune Activity: Statutory Mileage Rates.
4. Select Mileages Rates - UK.
5. Select Open.
6. Select Edit mileage reimbursement rates. 
7. Go to the Statutory Rates tab. 
8. Here, you can find the statutory mileage rates as specified by the authority based on the vehicle class.. 

For Advisory Fuel Rates: These rates are maintained in the backend.

For Statutory Mileage Rates: The rates are picked up from UK Government Portal - https://www.gov.uk/expenses-and-benefits-business-travel-mileage/rules-for-tax.

For Advisory Fuel Rates: The rates are picked up from the UK Government Portal - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/advisory-fuel-rates.

If there is any change on the portal, SAP updates the rates accordingly in the backend and publishes these rates via SAP for Me - https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/legalchangenotification. You must have to login with S-User ID and filter for Country/Region - United Kingdom(GB), Product - SAP Business ByDesign. You can find the details:
