3412293 - Setting "Null" date as default when using "data import service api"

Symptom

Is it possible to set Date dimension as Null by default through the Data Import API?

Environment

    SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.21.8

    Cause

    This behavior is not currently possible within the Data Import API. The reason for this is that the data that is being imported to the model must comply with the model specifications, including the date range. The lowest possible value for this is 1900. 

    Resolution

    You can use the Booking Behavior to book values to unassigned. More details on this are available in SAP Analytics Cloud Help: Booking Behavior.
