3447048 - Unable to import data using Multiple Parameters based on HANA Database - SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

While trying to enter multiple parameters on an Import Connection based on HANA Database.

A generic error appears on the Frontend and below error appears on the HAR Traces and on Import job logs:

Error Code: "PLUGIN_ERROR\"

"SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: search parameter error: [2018] A received argument has an invalid value;TABLE/VIEW parameter: ( 'PLACEHOLDER'='$$DATA$$, 'ENTRY1', 'ENTRY2'') not supported."

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud version: 2024.2.8

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant.

  2. Go to Model or Public Dimension.

  3. Go to Data Management.

  4. Select the Import job and click on Edit or Create a New import job.

  5. Select the parameter needed and add two entries.  

  6. Click on next and save the job. 

  7. Run the job.

  8. The error appears.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
