3454459 - Completed Attributes in Learning are not synchronizing with Growth Portfolio

After a user completes a course with attributes assigned to it, in Learning, this completion is not reflecting in the Growth Portfolio, from Talent Intelligence Hub.

1. Access the Learning Administration >
2. Locate the Item record and confirm that there is at least 1 attribute associated with the item >
3. Let the user complete the course assigned >
4. The attribute completion does not reflect in the Growth Portfolio, from Talent Intelligence Hub.

• Item Details option: "Auto Record Competency Rating on Item Completion" is not enabled.
• The User Source System was set as "LEARNING", and with this, the system identified this user as Learning Only, and placed outside the Growth portfolio sync
• The completed attribute is the first record created for the employee
• Different Person_GUID for the affected user in BizX and LMS

Item Details option: "Auto Record Competency Rating on Item Completion" is not enabled

With this option enabled, once the user/admin records item completion associated with attribute, then the completion in Learning will be reflected in Growth Portfolio.

The User Source System was set as "LEARNING"

If the User Source System is "Learning" for that user, this reflects in the Data Base as LMS_ORIGIN='Y' in the table PA_STUDENT. And with this, the user might not have access to Growth Portfolio and any new Attribute achieved in Learning will not be synchronized with Growth Portfolio.

The completed attribute is the first record created for the employee

By system design, the first attribute record for an employee will not sync to Growth Portfolio. Once there is a second record, the attributes will display in the Growth Portfolio as expected.

Different Person_GUID for the affected user in BizX and LMS

If you have a provisioning job or integration job scheduled to run on recurring basis to sync user data between BizX and LMS, make sure that it syncs the Person_GUID for the users in LMS.

NOTE: Team Portfolio and Story Reports are based on the data present in Growth Portfolio. If the attribute record is the first record for an employee, the employee's data also will not show in Team Portfolio or Story Reports.
