3458978 - How to Add New Input Product in a Production Order In Preparation

For a production order which is in preparation, how to add unplanned input product.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Production Control work center. 
2. Go to the Production Orders view. 
3. Find and select the relevant Production Order.
4. Click Edit.
5. Go to the Products tab and then to the Input Products sub-tab, there is no option of add.

When production order is in the status of In Preparation, Released or Started, it is allowed to add input product in the order.

1. In the production order, select tab Order Structure.
2. Expand the operation, select the activity that the unplanned input product should be added.
3. Select sub tab Input Products in the below.
4. Click Add Row, maintain related fields in the new row.
5. Click Save.
