After creating connection, the name of the live connection cannot be changed in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud Version: 2024.2.21
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC.
- Create a live connection.
- Notice that it is not possible to rename it.
Cause
Product behavior. After creating and saving the live connection it is not possible to rename it anymore.
Resolution
It is not possible to change name of live connection in SAC, we can only change the name for the import connection.
Workaround :
It can be achieved by creating a new live connection with the desired name and then re-pointing the models and stories to use the new connection.
