3502822 - "Invalid Login" page even if Login Parameters are Correct

• "Invalid Login" page prompting when a user tries to login to SuccessFactors (SF) via IAS even though the following points are correct: 
  • Subject name identifier of SF and IAS matches 
  • User have login permissions 
  • Login method is already correct and user is using the correct URL
• Checked the SSO logs on Provisioning (can only be accessed by SAP Support or Partner) where it shows: Cannot find user account username@sf_loaduser

SuccessFactors HCM Core

1. Try to login on SF. 
2. Invalid Login page prompts for the user. 
3. Check the username and login name and it matches, the user also have login permissions, and used the correct URL. 

This is most likely due to the incorrect/missing login account of the affected user. You can verify this by going to either Reset User Account and Reset User Password where you'll notice that the Login Name column is empty:

To correct this, do the following: 

1. Go to Manage Login Accounts tool .
2. Search for the affected user. 
3. In there, you'll notice that the login name of the user is either blank or incorrect - causing the issue when logging in. 
4. To edit, click the Edit Details under the Action column. 
5. On the pop up dialog box, put the correct login name for the affected user.
