3547225 - Disabling Email Notifications for User Deactivation in SAP Analytics Cloud

• Users are being deactivated via API and are receiving deactivation emails because they are locked.
• You want to disable email notifications when IPS triggers user deactivation, as this option is available in UI.

• SAC Administration
• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2024.21.8

The issue arises due to the new feature released in the QRC 4 2024 update, which allows users to be activated or deactivated via the API. When a user is locked in SAP BW/4HANA, IPS triggers user deactivation, resulting in the user receiving a deactivation email.

1. Access SAC tenant
2. Go to System > Administration
3. Enable the toggle for "Disable email notification for SCIM update users (custom IDP only)"
