Dynamically select date for currency conversion is not possible in SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.8.6.

1. Login to SAC
2. Open model
3. Go to calculations 
4. Create a new currency conversion variable
5. In properties panel > Conversion > Advanced Settings > Date, we can choose any one from booking date

Notice that the date cannot be changed in story runtime using a model variable or Story input control

This is behavior by design.
