Resolution

QUICK ACTIONS:

  • Quick actions are actions that you can complete without leaving the page.
  • On the latest home page, quick actions can be accessed in a toolbar at the top of the page. Choose an icon in the toolbar to open a dialog where you can complete the action.
  • When you create a custom quick action, you can configure the content that appears in the dialog.
  • How to add? 
    1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Home Page > Quick Actions. 
    2. Click Create Action. 
    3. Enter details on the Quick Action that you want to setup.

QUICK LINKS:

  • Quick links are links that take you to another page.
  • On the latest home page, they're displayed as buttons, under the greeting message. Choose a link to navigate to the relevant page.
  • When you create a custom quick link, you can choose the following behaviors:
    • Opening a specified URL.
    • Opening a new email to specified recipients.
    • Executing JavaScript at a specified URL.
  • How to add? 
    1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Home Page > Quick Links. 
    2. Click Create Link. 
    3. Enter details on the Quick Link that you want to setup.

  • Important Note: This is only visible on Latest Homepage. You will not see the option to manage Quick Links when Enable the latest Home Page experience is disabled on Company System and Logo Settings. 

    What it looks like on the LATEST HOMEPAGE: 

    The latest homepage in SuccessFactors is constantly being improved and enhanced. This behavior is also planned to be enhanced to avoid confusion and dedicate a specific tool for managing quick actions and quick links. You can still submit an enhancement request to expedite the addition of this feature to SuccessFactors by following 2090228 - How to submit enhancement ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products - SAP for Me or review the SAP Road Map Explorer.
