3679799 - Create Admin Alert not visible in Scheduled Job Manager

Symptom

  • As per TLS-24171 - Enhancements to Admin Alerts, the Periodic Admin Alert Creation and Rerun Admin Alert Creation jobs from Provisioning to the Scheduled Job Manager in the Admin Center.
  • When checking the Scheduled Job Manager, we cannot find the job.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the Scheduled Job Manager in Admin Center.
  2. Search for the jobs: "Periodic Admin Alert Creation" and "Rerun Admin Alert Creation". 
  3. No jobs were found. 

Cause

Resolution

Ensure that you are searching for "Create Admin Alerts" under the "Job Type" field and not under "Job Name".

Moreover, Rerun Admin Alert Creation will only show on the job if a recent Rerun of the Admin Alerts were executed via the Admin Alerts tool in Admin Center. Else, you wouldn't be able to find this job as well. 

Note: The enhancement only allows you to view the job status on the Scheduled Job Manager and not create a scheduled job.
