Symptom

Error "Selecting All Members exceeds the 4000-member display limit. The selection has been automatically refined to the first 4000 members." when sharing connection with more than 4000 users in SAC

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.21.6

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAC
  2. Navigate to Connection -> Search for connection "Google Export"
  3. Share the connection with all users

Notice: Error: Selecting All Members exceeds the 4000-member display limit. The selection has been automatically refined to the first 4000 members.

Cause

This is a by design behavior.
