3754812 - User able to use Forward as Applicant and Forward to Requisition without permissions - Recruiting Management

Users can use forward use Forward as Applicant and Forward to Requisition even though button permission for the hiring manager role are configured in the application template.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

1. Sign in as a hiring manager in the New Applicant Workbench.
2. Open any job application where the hiring manager does not have button permissions in the application XML.
3. Open the Actions menu for the candidate.
4. Observe that “Forward to Requisition” and/or “Forward as Applicant” options are available.

In the New Applicant Workbench, when Interview Settings are configured to “Grant interviewers the access level of ” users added as interviewers inherit recruiter-level access, 

This allows the user to inherit the permission of the operator defined under “Grant interviewers the access level of ”

When the setting “Grant interviewers the access level of Recruiter,” is enabled under manage recruiting settings the user add to interviewers on the job requisition will inherit the permissions of the defined operator. 

Example: User is the hiring manager on the requisition and also are an interview on an interview. Under manage recruiting settings “Grant interviewers the access level of ” the operator role is Recruiter (R) 

This means that the operator will have the hiring manager permissions and also inherit recruiter permissions allowing them to gain permission to the forwarded options.
