3804861 - Employer name and address not auto-populating on Form I‑9 after submission – Onboarding

In the US Compliance Form I‑9 process (Sections 1 and 2), the “Employer’s Business or Organization Name” and “Employer’s Business or Organization Address” fields are blank in the generated/signed form.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log in as a candidate and complete Form I‑9 Section 1.
2. Have the responsible user complete Form I‑9 Section 2 and e‑sign where required.
3. Download the generated/signed I‑9 form.
4. Observe that the employer name and employer address fields are blank.

Due to this error: Invalid property names : Invalid property names: FOCorporateAddressDEFLT/stateNav. Please check the property name in Admin Center > OData API Data Dictionary or entity metadata. Ensure there were no data model changes that removed this field, and please execute a refresh metadata to ensure the cache is not corrupted.

The stateNav navigation property is exposed in the OData API Data Dictionary only when the state field within the FOCorporateAddressDEFLT entity is assigned a picklist (such as STATE_USA) in the Corporate Data Model. If no picklist association is configured, the system provides only the raw state field rather than the stateNav navigation object.

This picklist mapping is mandatory for US Compliance, I-9, and E-Verify processes within SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding.

To resolve this issue, navigate to Manage Data > FieldMetaOverrideConfiguration > GLOBAL_FILTER_CONFIG, and update the workstate field to the correct value.
