3808669 - Error when exporting Corporate Data Model - The requested operation is not available.

Symptom

When attempting to export the Corporate Data Model from Admin Center or Provisioning, an error message is displayed: "The requested operation is not available."

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. On Provisioning or Admin Center;
  2. Navigate to Import/Export Corporate Data Model;
  3. Select Export;
  4. Click Export to download the XML file;
  5. The system redirects to an error page instead of generating the file. 

 

Cause

Corporate Data Model is currently missing from the instance.

Resolution

Import the standard Corporate Data Model into the instance first. Once the standard model has been successfully imported, you can export it and then make the required customizations and configurations based on your business requirements.

You can export the Corporate Data Model either through the Admin Center UI or via Provisioning.
